During the past 12 months the Company completed 3 acquisitions, expanded its network into the Newcastle and Sunshine Coast markets and also signed a number of key strategic wholesale partnership agreements, providing a solid platform for future success.

The largest acquisition, that of our largest fixed wireless competitor Clever Communications Australia, now positions BigAir as the market leader in high speed fixed wireless broadband with national network infrastructure covering the major metropolitan centres across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast.

The remaining two acquisitions were in the student accommodation segment and they together have positioned BigAir as the market leading supplier of managed Internet services to tertiary accommodation sites across Australia, servicing close to 20,000 students each month.

Since the completion of these acquisitions the focus for 2011 has been on the consolidation and integration of these acquisitions to ensure a solid platform for future organic growth across both divisions. We are pleased to report that the integration is on track and a significant amount of the expected synergies have already been realised with the full synergies expected to be delivered before the end of the 2012 financial year.
